Today we were at the kick-off lecture of the DBI Master's programme at Vrije Universiteit Amssterdam, at the invitation of professor Bart van den Hooff and professor Frans Feldberg.
Last year we had the chance to speak to the group about Clappform and our journey since graduating. This year we were back in front of more than 120 new DBI master's students.
Great to see: 10 years after it all started with Diego Tolen and Tom Griffioen, they got to come back and share what they've learned and where they stand today.

Housing Tracking System - Municipality of Arnhem
The municipality of Arnhem uses Clappform's Housing Tracking System and CRM to monitor the progress of the energy transition. This provides clear insights into insulation measures, subsidy opportunities, and sustainability initiatives at the building level, ensuring better alignment between policy and implementation.
Housing Development Monitor - Municipalities in the Alkmaar Region
For the six municipalities in the Alkmaar region, Clappform offers the Housing Development Monitor and the PPM (Public-Private Monitor) to track the progress of Housing Development Projects. This provides municipalities with up-to-date insight into hard and soft planning capacity, realization, and regional cooperation.
Data Governance - Province of North Brabant
The Province of North Brabant uses Clappform's Data Governance platform to centrally organise data quality and data management. The platform provides insights into the governance structure, monitors data flows, and supports the safeguarding of reliable and up-to-date information.
Integrated Neighbourhood Scan - Municipality of Veldhoven
Clappform is conducting a neighbourhood scan in Cobbeek and D’Ekker in partnership with the municipality of Veldhoven to improve the living environment for elderly residents. Data and resident feedback provide insights into social cohesion, mobility, community meeting spaces, and the quality of the physical environment.
Digital Twin - Municipality of Alkmaar
Clappform is working within a consortium on the Digital Twin of Alkmaar, part of the Network of Local Digital Twins (NLDT). The project supports data-driven decision-making and forward-looking urban policy, using open standards such as OGC and Common Ground.
Control over the entire waste chain - Den Bosch
For Afvalstoffendienst 's-Hertogenbosch, Clappform integrates all systems related to waste collection and processing: from ERP and vehicle navigation to weighing systems and recycling centres. All these sources converge into a single lakehouse, a central repository where all data is stored and prepared for use. This generates reliable dashboards, operational workflow applications, and APIs that drive the daily operations of the entire organisation, from the back office to the recycling centre.
Data Management platform - Data Safe House
Clappform has developed a new Data Management platform for Data Safe House. The platform simplifies data entry, verification, and validation, making them more transparent. Users can centrally manage data and feedback, while interactive charts provide insight into energy consumption, emissions, and sustainability projects. European software and Dutch data storage guarantee data sovereignty.
