From gut feeling to evidence-based policy: with data on your neighbourhood

Clappform's Integrated Neighbourhood Scan aggregates public data from the CBS, Police, Leefbarometer, RIVM, and the Climate Effect Atlas at the district and neighbourhood level. This enables municipalities to substantiate policy decisions with facts, identify trends, and compare areas—not to replace professional expertise, but to support it.

The distinction between automating tasks and preserving craftsmanship

AI and data integration can take over repetitive work, but true craftsmanship remains with the professional. Clappform believes that technology should create space for strategy, creativity, and social impact, while interpretation and the final decision remain with the human.

Our team is growing!

The Clappform team is growing, and several positions are open, from Platform Configurators to internships in front-end development, business development and marketing. Together, we work on data-driven solutions for societal challenges such as the energy transition and the housing challenge.

If grid congestion only emerges after the planning phase, you are too late

Grid congestion is becoming an increasingly frequent bottleneck for housing development, but if it is only factored into planning at a late stage, things go wrong. Clappform integrates grid congestion data into the Housing Construction Monitor and Public-Private Monitor, enabling municipalities and regions to see during the planning phase where capacity is constrained and where there is room to continue building.

Welcome, Rosy!

Clappform welcomes Rosy van Deursen as the new Marketeer on the team. She will focus on increasing Clappform's visibility and ensuring that municipalities and government organisations discover how data-driven working helps them make better decisions.

Local authorities are sitting on a goldmine of data, but for most, that mine remains largely untapped.

Municipalities have access to a wealth of data, but it often remains underused due to fragmented systems and manual work. Clappform builds applications that bring data from multiple sources together into up-to-date, visual and immediately actionable insights for policy makers.

1 in 4 municipal new-build plans was not realised

Recent research by NOS shows that 1 in 4 municipal new-build plans is not realised. Clappform’s Housing Construction Monitor helps municipalities gain up-to-date insight into planned, permitted and completed homes, enabling policymakers to make timely adjustments and achieve targets on a sound, evidence-based basis.

Strong team, strong performance: working together on health at Clappform

At Clappform, we believe strong performance starts with a healthy foundation. That is why our team trains together every week with a personal trainer, not only to stay physically fit, but also to remain mentally sharp and energised. These weekly sessions deliver more energy, a stronger team spirit and greater balance.

Interactive workshop on the Public-Private Monitor (PPM)

During an interactive working session at the Province of North Holland, the Public Private Monitor (PPM) was assessed for usability and practical value. Together with acceleration tables and municipalities, we explored how the PPM can support discussions on housing construction and identify bottlenecks at an early stage.
