Who are we?

Clappform is a Dutch low-code cloud platform for data analysis and process optimisation. The platform aggregates data from various sources, enriches it and makes it insightful through interactive dashboards, maps and API integrations.

With Clappform, governments and organisations can make faster and better decisions based on up-to-date and reliable information. The solution is cloud-based, secure (ISO-certified) and flexibly built according to modern architecture principles such as microservices and Common Ground.

Clappform is widely used within municipalities and provinces for issues surrounding quality of life, Housing Development, sustainability and the energy transition, allowing you to make a direct social impact.

The platform consists of multiple modules that are continuously in development: from data visualisation to interactive components and tooling with which our clients can work themselves. Which module you take on during your internship will be aligned based on your interests and what is ongoing at that moment.

What will you do?

You will work on the entire lifecycle of a module or a component of it, from initial sketch to working result:

• You will design the technical and UX layout of the new functionality

• You will design based on our style guide and/or expand it, with an eye for detail and user experience

• You will build and develop it into scalable, reusable components

This is real work that matters: what you build may end up in our clients' hands. You are not alone; our team will guide you intensively and actively think along with you.

Who are you?

You are an HBO or WO (higher professional or university education) student who wants to gain work experience in a technology startup, and you want to develop yourself significantly in a short period of time. You have already mastered some front-end development and want to take it to the next level. Furthermore, you recognise yourself in the following:

• A strong analytical capacity combined with a 'can-do' mentality

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Knowledge of modern HTML, CSS and Javascript

• Knowledge of Vue 3 and/or Nuxt 3

• You have (basic) knowledge of APIs and back-end communication

• You possess user experience (UX) skills

• You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages

• You are available for 3-5 days per week; the number of months is negotiable (approximately between 3-12 months)

• Plus: Knowledge of Typescript

• Plus: You have built a personal project outside of your studies: something you conceived and built out of your own interest or a problem you solved

Process:

At Clappform, the application process consists of the following steps:

• The first interview consists of an introductory conversation of half an hour and a technical test of half an hour on UX, software fundamentals and VUE. 

• If there is a match, a second interview will take place with someone from the development team.
