The role

As a Mid-level Platform Configurator, you are an independent force within our team. You are well beyond the early stages of the profession and understand what it means to take responsibility, both for the technical quality of a solution and for the client relationship.

You work on complex, large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders. You know how to manage expectations, steer client conversations, and clearly explain technical choices to non-technical decision-makers. You are the main point of contact for clients throughout the entire process, from intake to delivery, and ensure that both the client and the internal team always know where they stand.

In addition, you act as a source of knowledge and sparring partner for junior colleagues and actively contribute to the quality and consistency of our configurations.

What will you do?

• Build complex dashboards - You design and configure advanced, interactive dashboards aligned with the client’s strategic information needs. You contribute to decisions on data structure, visualisation choices, and scalability.

• Write data analyses in Python - You develop robust analyses and scripts that transform raw, complex data into actionable insights. Your code is clean, documented, and transferable.

• Assemble workflows - You translate complex business processes into automated workflows. You oversee the coherence between different process steps, systems, and data sources, and safeguard the overall logic.

• Write database queries - You work independently and at an advanced level with SQL and MongoDB. You write efficient queries, optimise where needed, and know how to handle large and complex datasets.

• Client contact & stakeholder management - You independently lead conversations with clients at all levels, from operational users to directors. You ask the right questions, safeguard scope, manage expectations, and keep all parties focused and aligned throughout the project.

• Project leadership - You monitor the progress of your projects, identify risks early, and proactively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. You know when escalation is needed and how to do so effectively.

• Knowledge sharing & coaching - You actively share your knowledge with the team, coach junior colleagues, and contribute to improving our ways of working and standards.

What do you bring?

Education

You have completed a higher professional or university degree in a technical or analytical field. Examples include:

• Computer Science / Informatics

• Software Engineering

• Data Science or Artificial Intelligence

• Business Information Systems

• (Applied) Mathematics

Or a comparable programme in which you learned programming and analytical thinking

Experience

• You have 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a configurator, (junior) consultant, data analyst, or in a comparable technical-content role.

• You have demonstrable experience independently running client projects, including all associated communication and coordination.

• You have worked in an environment with multiple stakeholders and know how to balance interests and expectations.

• Experience with low-code or no-code platforms is a strong advantage.

Technical knowledge

• You have strong command of Python at a level where you can independently deliver analyses, scripts, and data processing.

• You write advanced SQL queries and understand database architecture.

• You have practical knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

• You understand the logic behind data models, API integrations, and process automation.

Personal profile

• You take ownership of your projects and do not wait passively.

• You communicate effectively, both technically with colleagues and clearly and persuasively with clients and stakeholders.

• You are able to present and advise at executive level.

• You work in a structured way, maintain oversight in complex trajectories, and keep a close eye on deadlines.

• You are a natural sparring partner: critical, constructive, and committed.
