The role

As a Junior Platform Configurator, you are the crucial link between the client and the Clappform platform. You dive deep into our clients' processes and challenges, ask the right questions, and translate their requirements into concrete, working solutions within our platform. You combine technical skills with a sharp analytical eye and demonstrate that low-code is anything but limited.

You work closely with fellow configurators, project managers, and client teams. From day one, you are given real responsibility and quickly grow in both technical depth and client interaction.

What will you do?

Your work is varied and challenging. No project is the same, and your range of tasks is broad:

• Building dashboards - You design and configure interactive, visually strong dashboards that give clients instant insight into their data. You consider not only functionality, but also usability and clarity.

• Writing data analyses in Python - You develop analyses and scripts that turn raw, complex data into usable insights. You know how to clean, transform, and visualise data.

• Composing workflows - You translate business processes and logic into automated workflows within the platform. Think of notifications, approval flows, data processing, and integrations between systems.

• Writing database queries - You work daily with SQL and MongoDB to retrieve, combine, and process data. You know how to write efficient queries and understand the structure of relational and non-relational databases.

• Client consultation - You hold discussions with clients to understand their requirements and processes. You translate those insights into a clear technical implementation plan and ensure that expectations on both sides are aligned.

• Documentation & knowledge sharing - You document your configurations and decisions so that colleagues and clients can always refer back to them. You actively contribute to the team’s knowledge base.

What do you bring?

Education

You have completed a higher professional education (HBO) or university degree (WO) in a technical or analytical field. Examples include:

• Computer Science / Informatics

• Software Engineering

• Data Science or Artificial Intelligence

• Business Information Technology

• (Applied) Mathematics

Or a comparable programme in which you learned programming and analytical thinking

Technical knowledge

• You have practical knowledge of Python and are not afraid to write analyses or scripts.

• You are familiar with SQL and understand how to query and structure databases.

• Knowledge of or affinity with MongoDB (or other NoSQL databases) is an advantage.

• You understand the logic behind data models, APIs, and process automation.

• Experience with low-code or no-code platforms is a plus, but absolutely not a requirement.
