During the PROVADA event, we reflected on the collaboration between Clappform and Heijmans in the field of data-driven area development.
With the Clappform platform, Heijmans gains comprehensive and data-driven insight into neighbourhoods and districts. By combining various (public) data sources with insights from residents' interviews, a rich, up-to-date, and nuanced picture of an area is created. This helps to better understand and map social challenges surrounding well-being, quality of life, health, and social cohesion.
Well-being and quality of life are increasingly central to area developments. However, the challenge lies in making these ambitions concrete and measurable. How do you gain insight into what is actually happening in a neighbourhood? How do you substantiate choices with facts instead of assumptions? And how do you monitor the effects of interventions over time?
With the Impactscan, Clappform and Heijmans assist municipalities, developers, and other stakeholders in making better-informed decisions. Bringing data and practical insights together establishes a solid foundation for future-proof area development.
This collaboration was also highlighted by the DMI ecosystem, describing how the encounter between Heijmans and Clappform within the network led to a joint approach for mapping well-being and quality of life in area development. Read the full article on the DMI ecosystem website here: Article.
