During the PROVADA PROVADA event, we reflected on the collaboration between Clappform and Heijmans in the field of data-driven area development.
With the Clappform-platform, Heijmans has access to comprehensive and data-driven insights into neighbourhoods and districts. By combining various (public) data sources with insights from conversations with residents, a rich, up-to-date, and nuanced picture of an area is created. This helps to provide better insight into societal challenges surrounding well-being, liveability, health, and social cohesion.
Well-being and liveability are increasingly central to area developments. However, the challenge lies in making these ambitions concrete and measurable. How do you gain insight into what is actually happening in a neighbourhood? How do you substantiate choices with facts instead of assumptions? And how do you monitor the effects of interventions over time?
With the Impactscan, Clappform and Heijmans support municipalities, developers, and other stakeholders in making more informed decisions. By bringing together data and practical insights, a solid foundation is created for future-proof area development.
This collaboration was also highlighted by the DMI-ecosysteem, which describes how the meeting between Heijmans and Clappform within the network led to a joint approach for mapping well-being and liveability in area development.
