The project
The province of North Brabant, in collaboration with Clappform, is developing a Data Governance application that consolidates all metadata of provincial data assets into a single centralized location. Employees can easily view which data is available per theme or program, how often it is updated, and whom to contact for inquiries.
This provides a complete and up-to-date overview of the provincial data landscape, enhancing communication about data and making collaboration between departments more efficient and transparent.

The challenge
Within the province, information about data assets was distributed across various departments, documents, and systems. There was no central overview, making it unclear which data was available, how current it was, and whom employees could contact with questions. This hindered collaboration and led to inefficient communication concerning data.
